About Me

Earl

I’ve been a follower of Jesus Christ since 1986. I can honestly say that my life prior to becoming a Christian looked a whole lot different than it does now after surrendering my life to Him. Not perfect by any means, just very different, in a very good way!

I must also confess that I believe the Holy Bible is the infallible (cannot err) Word of God. I believe it contains absolute truth we can depend on and rely on for wisdom and understanding, for personal and spiritual growth.

Written by common men chosen by God, their thoughts were guided by the Holy Spirit of God to document exactly what He intended to be written. All Scripture is God-breathed (given by inspiration of God) and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2Timothy 3:16,17).

In semi-retirement mode, I’ve had time to pray and meditate on how God is rewiring me for this next chapter of my life.

One area I felt strongly about was writing a book to include my backstory. By the grace of God, what I started years ago is now a published work! What IN The World Is Wrong With This World? is available at Amazon.com. If you should choose to pick up a copy, I’d love your feedback.

I also felt led to start blogging about the many experiences I’ve had as an Elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church since 1991, as an entrepreneur, business manager, and business owner.

I share Biblical wisdom, managerial and leadership wisdom, financial wisdom, wisdom relevant to current events, and wisdom for personal and spiritual growth from the many books I’ve read over the years, from my personal experiences and from the mentors who have poured into my life. I hope you’ll check it all out on my “Blog Posts” page.

Paying it forward if you will, so others can learn from my mistakes and possibly take away something positive from the successes I’ve had. And, more importantly, from the great successes and wisdom of others I look forward to introducing you to in future blog posts.
